Data I/O Data Science Hackathon Schedule

When:  Sunday, November 18th 10am-5pm (check in 9:30-10)

Where:  18th Ave Library Floor 3

What to bring:  To Be Announced

DataI/O is a collaboration between the Big Data and Analytics Association (BDAA) and the OHI/O Program. This is a great event to get more concentrated practice than a case competition, but shorter and more data focused than a general hackathon. You will still collaborate and meet new friends, plus professors and professionals.

The Challenge

Groups of 1-4 will work on projects of their choice in one of three different areas (AI and predictive algorithms, data visualization, & actionable insights) by bringing an open source dataset or using one of the suggested data sets. Prizes will be awarded by judges to the top project in each category, and mentors will be available to help throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
